In particular, helpful because I forgot to add constraints when I first defined a couple of migrations.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I love constraints so much. I realized in reading it that acts_as_paranoid was keeping mysql from doing query caching on account of the perpetual deleted_at &gt;= current_time check.
